Overnight Intrusion
A woman called police at 8:57 a.m. on May 30 to report somebody had broken into her townhouse in the middle of the night. When police arrived at her home in the 1800 block of 12th Avenue West, the victim said that she had gone to sleep in her upstairs bedroom a little after midnight on May 30.
Sometime after she had gone to bed, an unidentified suspect entered her home through a downstairs bedroom, which is used by the residents as a musical instruments room, and walked around the lower floor of the townhouse.

Unlocked Window
On May 29 police responded to a reported burglary at a home located in the 100 block of Roy Street at 11:46 p.m. The resident said sometime between 6:30 and 11 p.m. somebody had entered his house through an unlocked second door window.
Once inside the suspect took a laptop that had been in the living room. A fingerprint check was done with a negative result.

Police blotter 5/26
You Got Served
After being hit by a car in the 600 block of West Mercer Place, a man called police at 6:47 p.m. on May 11. He said he had been trying to contact a male subject who lives at the location. The victim was attempting to serve the subject papers. When he saw a car he suspected belonged to the subject, he approached the vehicle.

Inside Job
A police officer responded to a burglary in the 1600 block of Eight Avenue North at 2:24 p.m. May 3. A resident of an apartment building had found his car broken into. At the same time somebody had broken into the building's utility room and taken the DVR for the security camera system.

Police blotter 5/5
Liquor Store Break-In
Police responded to a report of a burglary at a liquor store in the 3300 block of West McGraw Street at 4:37 a.m. on April 24. The alarm company called 911 to report the front door alarm had been tripped. A witness told police she saw a man come out of the liquor store carrying several bottles. The suspect was last seen heading northbound on 34th Avenue West.
