Enjoy cinematic drama, adventure, slapstick and suspense this summer at the 10th-annual Seattle Center Movies at the Mural.
The free movies are presented on a state-of-the-art, 45-foot screen on Saturdays at 9 p.m. (dusk), from July 26 to Aug. 23, at Seattle Center’s Mural Amphitheatre
This year’s schedule includes:
•July 26 — “The Princess Bride” (1987, rated PG);
•Aug. 2 — “Gravity” (2013, PG-13);
•Aug. 9 — “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” (1986, PG-13);
•Aug. 16 — “The Great Gatsby” (2013, PG-13); and
•Aug. 23 — “Star Trek: Into Darkness (2013, PG-13);
Movie-goers are encouraged to arrive early, spread out a blanket on the gently sloping Mural Amphitheatre lawn and bring along a picnic.
Seating at Movies at the Mural is first-come, first-served. Low-back chairs, blankets and bean bags are recommended. Large bags, large coolers/ice chests, umbrellas and video and audio recorders are not allowed.
Pets should be left at home.
