The board of directors of KCTS-9 Television has hired media veteran Rob Dunlop, who has been serving since September 2013 as interim president and CEO, as the station’s new president and CEO.

Following a nationwide search, Dunlop was chosen to lead the PBS-member station. He comes to KCTS 9 from Fisher Communications Inc., where he most recently served as executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Prior to working at Fisher, he was a research consultant to broadcast companies on product strategy and competitive performance and a producer at the ABC affiliate in Columbus, Ohio, as well as a news anchor and host for the top-rated news-talk radio station in the market.
