The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) is advises travelers of the following activities within the Mercer Corridor Project Area:

Westbound Mercer Street between Dexter and Fifth avenuse North will have the right lane closed between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 27, and Thursday, Aug. 28, to accommodate water-line work on the north side of Mercer Street. 

One westbound lane on Mercer Street will remain open to traffic at all times.

Also, Mercer Street will reduce to one eastbound lane, and Roy Street will reduce to one westbound lane at Queen Anne Avenue North from 4 to 6 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 28, for paving activities. 

The following impacts can be expected:

•The westbound right lane of Roy Street at Queen Anne Avenue North will close between 4 and 6 a.m.

•The eastbound right lane of Mercer Street at Queen Anne Avenue North will close between 4 and 6 a.m.

•Traffic will detour around the paving work.

Mercer Street will reduce to one lane in each direction at Dexter Avenue North between 2 and 6 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 28, and Friday, Aug. 29, to accommodate lane striping. 

The following impacts can be expected:

•The right lanes of both eastbound and westbound Mercer Street between Eighth Avenue North and state Route 99 will close from 2 and 6 a.m. each day.

•A uniformed police officer will control the intersection of Dexter Avenue North and Mercer Street between 2 and 6 a.m. each day.

•Traffic will be routed around the striping work.
