Lisa Power Salon participated in the Fashion SOULstice fundraising event in April to raise money for a cosmetology school in Cambodia. The event was organized by the nonprofit Justice & Soul Foundation and drew more than 275 participants and raised more than $47,000.

The sold-out evening featured a silent auction and runway show, which benefited young survivors of sex trafficking through the foundation’s new vocation training program in Cambodia.

One of the highlights of the evening was a fashion show with models styled by local salons. Six salons and one school joined Team Lisa Power Salon to create each signature look. Stylists Jeremy Novak and Rachelle Depta created the vision for the two models styled by Lisa Power Salon.

The foundation also wrapped up a six-week capitol campaign, raising an additional $45,000 to build the school and salon in Phnom Penh.

Novak also styled singer-songwriter Mary Lambert for the story “Her Body is a Wonderland,” which appears in the June edition of Elle magazine.
